Reason for your ban: disrespectful towards staff and thephoenix

Why should you be unbanned: I am writing to formally appeal my recent ban for being disrespectful and rude to staff members. I understand that my behavior was inappropriate and not in line with the community standards we so desperately attempt to uphold.

I want to sincerely apologize for my actions. I let my frustration get the better of me, and I did not consider how my words might affect the staff and the community. I deeply regret any offense I may have caused, and I appreciate the hard work that goes into maintaining a positive environment for all players.

I have taken some time to reflect on my behavior, and I assure you that I have learned from this experience. I am committed to improving my conduct in the future and to treating all players and staff with the respect they deserve.

When given the chance to return, I promise to adhere to the server rules and contribute positively to the community. Thank you for considering my appeal. I would be grateful for the opportunity to make amends.

I would say that in the past your assurances of better behavior in the future have not exactly happened.

Given that you have had numerous warnings now, I have to admit to being rather skeptical.

There is a fine line between banter and bullying/harassment.

Your last ban was 3 days. This will be a week.

Should there be any further harassment of other players or staff then a permanent ban will be on the cards.

With regards to the lava casting, I have no big problem with this. Within reason it is allowed and over the years I have removed many. However you were told not to repeat this near 0 0 by CC and then did so to the exact line of the always loaded chunks. I have no doubt this was a deliberate wind up and as such was disrespectful. I went through the logs before I came on and saw the chat about this. CC put up with this with enormous patience. It is time to move on on this subject.

With regard to the tping out issue, can I make it very clear to you and others, it was a no issue. Just because PVP and griefing is allowed it does not give you a god-given right to go into any arena and attack whoever is there. Senior staff may evict anyone not respecting that the arena may be in use. As far as the JackyBoy thing is concerned, this is more about you and others continuing grievance with a specific player. Get over it!

I would just say that don't take any pleasure in banning people. I don't do this job for any other reason than to make it possible for people, young and old, from all over the world to have fun on the server.
