Will there be a map reset for 1.13?

it's been said on here a few times but despite the opinions of the playerbase, one isn't planned right now, but however, that is not confirming or denying one MIGHT happen.

If, that being the key word here, we do have a map reset, we will make a stickied thread and announcement in advance

I think it'd be cool if for the last few days before the reset you guys turned keep inventory on and made a big arena for ppl to pvp in. I bet a lot of people would participate since keep inventory guarantees that they'd keep their gear, and spending that time working on a base or doing something else would be futile because of the impending reset.
Also maybe you guys can create a stickied thread for base pics before the map resets, so that we all can see each other's bases?

if do a pvp why not do a purge like what happened in april fools

Or just tp everyone to the arena /kill everyone in the last few minutes like the last reset :P
