I was saddened to hear players can no longer convert spawner's using spawn eggs. For me personally this is the only reason I was considering getting a crafty crate to get spawn eggs. I think if admins could change them for us if we have an egg and an available spawner this could still work. But without this i really don't see how a crafty crate could be cost effective. I hope crafty agrees this would stimulate more players to get crafty crates in my opinion.

That was a thing mojang patched in 1.9, However, if an admin is on, feel free to ask for them to convert it for you. The will use your egg and your spawner, you will not be given either.

rate)Yea I'm confused too. I can't reproduce this issue in 1.9.2 or find any jira bugs / release notes to match it. The closest I have is a fixed 1.8 bug that disabled using spawn eggs to change spawners when in adventure mode.
