Hi everyone.
I made a really cool texture pack today, because I've been using the default one for so long because I couldn't really find any texture packs that I really loved, and I figured that a few people probably have the same problem. This took me a couple hours to do because I had to search for ages for different texture packs so I could grab certain textures from them and put them into my texture pack.
The main changes I have made are:

• Low fire overlay so you can actually see when you are on fire. (Good for pvp).
• Significantly lower shield, again so you can actually see.
• Cool rainbow XP bar and blue health bar.
• Changed all of the items from the original texture pack because they were ugly as hell.

One thing that I didn’t change is the armour. I looked through loads of texturepacks to ttry and find armour, but I didn’t find any that I liked, so I just went with default armour. I may change the armour soon if I find any good ones, and I’ll make sure I repost this if I do. Anyways, I love the simplicity of the blocks in this texture pack, especially the water and the leaves. The farm in the community I belong to looks amazing on this texture pack and I'll include a few screenshots of it. Anyways, as I said I spent quite a while making this so I'd appreciate it if you try it, and please reply if you like it. I did the same thing with my texture pack but I went a little bit further, Instead of only look for textures in other resource packs I downloaded an editor myself and I worked on the textures I didnt like

How to implement the texture pack?

I have downloaded it and put it in the resource pack folder but it's not showing in the option inside minecraft

maybe it was packaged incorrectly or it's from an older version of MC?

I fixed it. if anyone Windows OS and it's not working for them, try unzipping the file, open the unzipped file and delete the folder that is named MACOSX. it should work that way. if not, comment here.
Also if you already have a cool Font that you like and you didn't like the one included in this resource pack, just go to the resourcepack menu and rearrange your older font to be on top of the new texture pack that you just installed. you can do that by pressing the "up" arrow that shows up on the icon.

@Jordi223b I asked Venetorem and he couldn't remember the final decision that crafty made, but he basically said it can't be enforced anyway because nobody would know you have it unless you tell so it's fine. And the only reason it would be illegal is because it's unfair, but seriously, anyone could have it, and who is going to complain after a fight that it was unfair because you had a low fire and low shield texture pack? And how would they know anyway?

@HaloNest Nice! I'd like to do that but I don't have Photoshop and I don't know of any other free editors that you could do that with. I'll check yours out when you post it.

@Ailze Pack looks nice, I'm not a fan of the lower resolution, so maybe bumping that up would make it look a bit nicer

You mean it should be more HD? i thought it has very good resolution compared with the default. except for the font, so changed the font and kept the rest
