Sad part is I tried installing google chrome BUT THAT WON'T INSTALL EITHER

Firefox is still installing, maybe that will work, but I have huge doubts

i think we have identified your problem, lol
ok look in your computer i beleive windows 1o came with a copy of internet explorer if not download it first, then we get ccleaner, then we get minecraft then we use it to get google chrome and we take control the computer back to you

once your back playing ill show you how to tun alot of windows 10 bullshit features and controls off so you run your computer and you decide what happens instead of microsoft

odds are you will have frames per second issues because of widows ten FPS but luckily optifine will be a easy fix for that

I've always get 60fps or less w/o optifine and 100+ with it :P

sorry was online playing, you scanned with ccleaner and deleted all files great, restart computer, use internet explorer and download and intall new copy of minecraft from mojang.

I tried downloading it through internet explorer, on both Minecraft.net and Mojang. Still didn't work T_T

The native launcher doesn't download when I start up minecraft

ok so you were able to download minecraft installer to your download folder. you were able to instal it?
are you getting any messages and when do you get them? -
Yes but when I click the shortcut the launcher itself it starts to install/update. At about 2.00mb it restarts with a message in a small window saying "unable to update native launcher."

ok go to the download folder and find the copy of minecraft you down loaded.
do you see a file marked Minecraftinstaller.msi ? if so double click it and see if it installs -
I deleted all the Minecraft files :P i'll re-download and see if the msi file appears

When I download Minecraft from Minecraft.net (windows version) no files appear in downloads. The only thing that appears is the Minecraft shortcut on my desktop

go to here
click login, you do have a login and you did purchase your copy from mojang correct?
click download on upper left corner of page
click show all options
click downloads for windows
did a download window open saying it windows installer and list the file name Minecraftinstaller.msi as the file destination? -
yes I purchased from Mojang
