That was the biggest problem with the non vanilla villagers, they didn't lock up and allowed players to abuse them.

@AwesomeCreeper50 I remember back in the old map there used to be an odd custom villager at spawn every now and then, and i sort of miss those. It would be kind of nice to see them brought back and for new players to see that weren't around back at that time.

The issue was, they caused too many issues with the economy. It was decided after much discussion and surveys that they should be removed and replaced with vanilla villagers.

@Cileklim I'm not against birthday gifts, but even if they put vanishing to it after this thread, the photo clearly shows that the item did not have vanishing on it before. As I said, items that give a clear advantage over other players should not be given at all.

You can set hidden flags for items.

Not that it should be done, I'm against any system as such people should behave good regardless of potential commendations and many players do and staff are happy I'm sure.

I would like to say no, as they break the "Nothing to give you an advantage" However, I am not able to detect them so that hurts the players that follow the rules and have a disadvantage to the ones that do use it.

This one is difficult, there are so many words that are obvious and so many that are not. Some older or more cultured staff might recognize words or sayings that would cause a name to break the rules while others wouldn't. Not everyone is the same and has the same experience, that causes discrepancies between staff and their opinion on names.

I have heard nothing, absolutely zip, nada as far as suggestions, I can't fix what I don't know is broken. It hurts me to know that all these things you thought were wrong but you never said anything. The reason 2Chill has had so many of his ideas implemented is that he actually comes to me with them.

Running a server is really hard, the reason you don't get straight answers is all the edge cases that minecraft servers have. If you tell people that you can spawn camp within 30 blocks of spawn, they will go to 31 blocks, if you tell someone that they can't use a mod that we have no way of detecting, then half the people follow the rules and the other half gain an advantage knowing that they cannot be caught.

The whole reason I didn't say anything about sknup's base is that I didn't want it to turn into a big deal. I don't have to tell everyone what my person projects are.

We keep some secrets secret for a reason, and just like you said, you are going to need to trust me on this.

All I can say is that there is a dedicated place for posting suggestions, and if you don't want to make a public post them just pm me. If you have a problem with someone or some staff you need to tell me. You can't bottle things up and then just explode them in a massive hard to digest post. If you got a hole in your boat and started sinking, you wouldn't wait until the water is above your head before you told someone that could fix it. Why would you leave all these suggestions until you are not here to see the changes?

Sometimes I feel like people forget that I exist, I have put my heart and soul into this server for the last 2.5 years, I mean the server is named after me.

Make a post to me, if you have an idea, issue, or request, do it before it's too late. I may not be able to do it, I may not be able to tell you why, but at least I will know that something is wrong.
