I was planning on keeping the openings open, and putting the rings higher up.

the land needs terraforming, looks like its a building glitched half into the ground.

Damn, that looks hella dope man! Then also I'd say you should add some sort spiral stairway to the top when it's mostly complete? idk really but yeah, Try terraforming as @GrinningBobcat says as well :P

Update: Did a bit of work on it recently, changed the floor to stone, added 2 more rings, and made a dna spiral tower type thing.
