as you can see it is a constant battle to repair the pot holes in the road.

Does anyone have suggestions on cool looking bridge types? or cheaper blocks to build the cables out of ?

mix some red nether brick into the bridge, will be happy to provide needed red dye

i use iron bars for my suspension bridges. i think glass colored rods would work

if your fine losing a bit of shape, you could swap to wool or bone

@JKELLER4000 wool would be much easier to get i can find lots of sheep or trade with villagers! that is a good suggestion!

are there any fancy wool blocks i do not know about ?

like wool slabs or stairs. or chiseled wool?

only carpet, but that might not work very well for those supports

this just occured to me what about snowlayers (not sure if they work in the nether) and place them ontop of floating string to make the cables? depending how you do it, it could look pretty good
