    Hey everybody,
This morning I was playing around with minecraft texture packs like sphax 256x and zig-zag 128x because I quite like high resolution packs and they look so complicate to make like they were hand drawn.
After a while I started drawing on a paper sheet a random texture myself to see if it would've looked any good.
    this is the initial work:

I was about to throw it in the trash bin when I came up with a cool idea
and after a while of hard work, here's the result!
a sweet hand drawn cobblestone thingy!
    -image-

so I thaughty why not make a whole texture pack out of it?
guess I'll do some pack updates if that's something cool to see,
I'd like to recieve some feedbacks on the textures :P
    peace!

  2. I really like the idea of a hand-drawn texture pack, but that cobble texture you did looks more like coal ore if you ask me, but I'd love to eventually see a completed version of this if you'd be up to the task

  3. This would be an amazing project and would like to see the output.

    • changed cobblestone texture
    • added coal ore texture

    - added stone

    here's a the actual view

  4. reminds me of borderlands actually

  5. I'm really liking what you got so far, can't wait to see more!

  6. be ready for some grass textures

  7. @HaloNest be ready for some grass textures

    Make it green.

  8. here! as green as possible!

okay, so here's what grass looked like at first
    -image-

then I decided to remove the border and add more textures to randomize it
    -image-

and here's what grass looks like without optifine better grass
    -image-

    also dirt
    -image-
the grass overlay was a it more tricky to make but,

    ALL HAIL THE MIGHTY OPTIFINE

Much, much better. I'd recommend doing that to most very common textures. Eg, Stone, Granite, Andesite, Diorite, Netherack, Endstone, All the stone brick variants, All the netherbrick variants, Gravel, Sand, Clay etc.

  10. I'll see what I can do

  11. i think the borders are a cool lil detail that should be on all or none as a touch of added conscistency

  12. This is one of the coolest things I've seen! Very awesome work! I can't wait to see more.

  13. Woah...

  14. @ardoasms i think the borders are a cool lil detail that should be on all or none as a touch of added conscistency

Yep, eventually I decided to put a border on every block
Thanks for the feedback everyone :D

    -image-

    k bye

  16. The colors on the dirt are too orange, and the log color looks a little off as well. Otherwise really good job!

  17. agreed

might recycle those textures for jungle logs and red sand but for the moment they're fine ;)

  18. Yea I agree the dirt looks way to orange
