Hmmm what is bigger than life? Not-life, i.e. most everything around us. The rocks, the moon, the stars, the sun, the entire galaxy etc... So basically anything that isnt alive outnumbers us few beings alive.

Life isn't even a concrete thing, so the only thing that could be "bigger" would be something that is abstract and a play on words.

So saying that you can buy this isn't looking good for the riddle, lol...

Thinking out loud here... Is it the U.S. national debt? ;) It's bigger than anything I've ever seen, and you can buy it by the U.S. paying you back your money!

Nah I'm joking, but I think @FishW is on to something, although maybe not that big, because you can't buy whole planets. A building perhaps...?
