since staff decreted spawners can be changed, I decided to list every condition which every spaw egg requires to actually work.

- requires the spawner to be elevated from the floor of at least 1 block
- require water to keep squids alive, otherwise they're just gonna spawn and die
- squids have to be between y levels of y:46 up to sea level
