    I guess it counts as hacking, but I have never attempeted it except on a single player world

  3. @R4iscool1 #3 and #4 would be allowed.

    #1 & #2 maybe depends.

    I assume this was aimed at my list, thanks! Any chance of some clarification on the first two I listed?

    The rule is simple. ANYTHING THAT GIVES AN UNFAIR ADVANTAGE!

    This means regardless of how easy it is. If you have to ask, dont fking do it.

    Breaking unbreakable things, moving through walls, xraying in any form, flight glitches, anything and everything else that you have to go out of your way to make purposfully to break a childrens game mechanics.

    So shut up and play, or leave. Quit being a pansy, looking for ways to cheat the system.

    If they are used in the context listed above then I don't see any issue.
    Problem is I can't verify they aren't usable for other more problematic uses.
    Ghost blocks for example have been used to dupe before in previous versions. There is no equivalent at the moment IIRC but I could be wrong.
    I'd say if using them for the functions above then it should be fine.
    We don't want to ban anything more than necessary, usually common sense will carry you through.

    That may be subject to change or overwriting however.

    @CraftyMyner #1. No.
    #2. Only for getting onto the roof/traveling, however, they should not be used to glitch in spawn/casino.
    #3. No.
    #4. Not really sure what you mean, but likely no.

    @Dannysharks

    If you log out repeatedly while under the combat tag it lets you leave the arena if the person you are fighting cannot re-tag you quickly enough upon a relog

    Is it intended that people can leave with a tpa to another person while the subject is brought up?

  8. Is prop killing alloud?

    @Fish_life Is prop killing alloud?

    what do you mean by prop killing?

  10. @ardoasms what do you mean by prop killing?

    it's called a joke

    It is not and it should no longer work.

  12. @CraftyMyner It is not and it should no longer work.

    Greatly appreciated!

  13. Do any of these count as bannable glitches? I found a video:

  14. How about using glass as an item elevator?

  15. @Retrochewy Do any of these count as bannable glitches? I found a video:

    I don't think anyone is going to watch a 9 minute video to determine this.
    Can you ask specifically or give times that demonstrate glitches?

  16. @Retrochewy How about using glass as an item elevator?

    That's fine

    1. allowed at bow boost
    2.allowed using your mouse to look at a certain degree to stay flying
    3.waste of time and also requires alot of portals in the ow so i would say no, cause it may be or act as a overworld goldfarm which isnt allowed and causes corruption
    4.Now this one is interesting hm , i dont see right off how its giving a advantage so i would think used in this context it would be ok, but wont make any promises ,if anything you would probably just be asked to stop . @ the using elytra to stay in a 1x1 hole .
    5.looks completely fine to me used in this context .@pearl

  18. So were allowed to use elytra when mining to go in a 1x1 hole, right?

  19. Hoping this doesn't count as necroposting but thought I'd use this existing thread rather than make a new one just to ask about a single bug.

    I've recently found it's possible to use server/client desyncs make immovable blocks appear invisible to the client. Including bedrock. It doesn't break the bedrock, the client just doesn't render it until relogging or reloading the chunks some other way.

    This isn't that useful because you can't move through the blocks in any way (so no fall traps into the void). But you can click into a minecart/boat through them. The only use I can see for this is to make doors out of immovable blocks, and to pass through the nether ceiling downwards.
    Currently a number of glitches are allowed to get on top of the nether roof, just wanted to check if we can use this to get down again.

  20. Adding something relevant to a thread is not necro posting, the problem is the vast majority of revived threads are due to some joker putting in a one liner like "lol" or I agree which has no relevance and the event has likely passed. That is not the case here.

    While I would wait for an admin or crafty to respond, I don't believe such a thing would be forbidden given it's benign usage.

  21. Question: Is TNT entity duping legal? Literally anyone can do it with a piston and it does not make new tnt items but instead lets the entity be fired while keeping the block there, I want to carpet bomb a large area please.
