Are slimes able to hope into boats on land?

Here's a cheeky slime i found riding my machine on the last map.

@LeoSushi @Tez1010 might i ask what that machine did? it looks like an auto-smelter, but then y the minecart?

It's an afk farm if I'm not mistaken.

Does anyone have a slime farm yet?

Its a semi auto farm but not afk. You have to keep planting. The machine applies bonemeal using dispensers then shifts the dirt to unplant. Because you are moving along in the minecart you collect the crop as you replant. It is pretty fast but you do need a skelly farm to supply it.

I do know of a slime farm but it doesn't produce many slimes.
